- Mt. Morris Fire Responds to IL Rt. 64 and Ridge Rd. for a Car Fire -
On July 20, 2008 at 08:05 in the morning the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District received a report of a car fire at the intersection of IL Route 64 and Ridge Rd. Chief Hough arrived on scene and reported a fully involved engine compartment. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. No one was injured during the fire. Companies made up and returned quarters.
